theirs good parts out for these cars. I think turbonetics came out with a turbo kit for this car awhile back. Didnt that year come out with a defect ?Originally Posted by d_day87

Yeah, also the bolts on the intake manifold butterfly woudl get loose and get sucked into the intake.... can you imagine racing...Originally Posted by d_day87

You can run plenty of boost on the qr25 as long as you have some adders like methanol. There are a few people who run 14 psi on stock motors all day long. Plus when you make 300+ HP at 9 psi who needs more boost. Spec 5's rule! But drop your car, wash it and get exhaust.

i was thinking of buying a older one.. like a 00 or 01.they have the sr20 in them.. i think that engine would be better.. and most ppl only run 9 psi in their sentras... to be honest with ya. they fall apart after 300 hp.. because it is a open deck engine... the cylider walls are thin due to that. and it being a die cast engine as opposed to he sr20 being sand cast also makes it more unreliable... only because of the open deck designOriginally Posted by d_day87

... the car is dropped 1.5 inch in the front .9 inches in the back... and i will be getting an exhaust soon.. so.. im trying to stay away from the whole modified lookOriginally Posted by mitsustar13

whats wrong with the 02's? its not a 02 tho its a 03Originally Posted by d_day87
yes.. they arent fast... they can be made very fast.. for ALOT of money tho then maybe a engine swap.. or a major weight reduction.. there is quite a bit of aftermarket support actually... not a gigantic amount but for what car it is there is alot.. its a 14 second car... so faster then allot of things

i'm not hatin on your car, i liked mine alot, i would probably still have it if i didn't have so many problems with it. i was looking at the 3.5 swap for mine tho. i know theres alot of power to be had with these cars. i wouldn't mind having the sr20 model either. although i'd much rather have a b13, i like the old schools
yeah, that day i was fixing the misfire that it had i was replacing all of the coil packs and took a picture in the middle of tht workOriginally Posted by R3RUN
