got a prob with my temp gauge

my temp gauge keeps floatin up and down , some days it does and some days it dont , on the days that it does , the faster i go the quiker it goes up , when i down shift and come to a complete stop it goes back to normal , i have a 94 EG sedan , i have plenty of fluid and it doesnt overflow into the of container , any one else had this happen or any advice on what to do? thanx in advance!

Time to change the thermostat and the housing, while your at it you might want to check your water pump as well.

I had the same problem, but when I rebuilt my motor and replaced those 2 things, I never had that problem again.
