The title says it all, what perk/weapon load outs are your favorites for CQB, mid and long range engagements? I just got the game so I was curious about what other people's ideal load outs are.

I like to avoid corner-turning close quarter gun battles and when I do get in them I use the knife, it is better than all but the shotgun.

For maps that tend to be closed in where you're unlikely to encounter anyone more than 100 yards away I like to use an M249 with a relex sight and a 1911 with RPG (low rank- best explosives perk I have so far), stopping power and steady aim.

On larger maps I like to use the same load out but with an M16+ACOG in the place of the M249.

I can't think of any stand out PS3 games other than Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank. As as side note, its not some kind of time trial competition. My opinions on the systems are pragmatic only.

My friend swears by eavesdrop because he says you can hear the enemy's communications, however in my experience team communication is mostly a back and forth relay about how black some other player is or how many n-words they just waxed so I don't see that being too helpful.

i dont have favorite weapons being im going through all of them trying to get the 150 expert/headshots on them all, but as of right now i prefer silencer, UAV jammer and dead silence on whichever guns i work on. when i dont have that i pick red dot scope (acog blows F'n balls), uav jammer and deap impact.

my least favorite is martydorm, its for noobs. another reason i hate it cause all i play is hardcore mode, and dumbasses never take it off and get like 10 team kills

last stand is pretty nooblish too. forgot about that one, its only annoying for when you think their dead and you run around a corner and they are still there spinning around and kill you. as for people stealing my kills when i put someone in last stand, i would call that stealing. more of them finishing the job i should have done the first time around. or in most cases for me when someone steals my kills of a last stand they always end up saving me.

As far as guns
M16, red dot, stopping power and 3x stun and last stand. Fucck the last stand haters, and DE pistol.
M40A3 is the best sniping rifle hands down.

I use the MP5 with ACOG Scope...RPGS,Stopping Power, & Deep Penetration

Or the AK47 with the red dot scope, and same perks

yea i understand what your saying, the g36 is a bit inaccurate but its a fun gun. i just cant remember the other perks that i use on my other guns...

I've become convinced a light machine gun with either a grip or a scope and deep impact is the most versatile weapon in the game. I'm not sure about what the best second perk would be seeing as how I don't have double tap yet. Good guess work using your radar and shooting through walls can easily get you a few extra kills in a game. Well employed claymores can also allow you to employ more effective machine gun fire throughout the game.

only problem with the light machine guns is accuracy. The grip solves this problem but takes away your first perk. Doesnt bother me though since I dont stay put long enough to need claymores

only way i touch a light machine gun is on Bloc and im camping the holy crap out of out of one building while my team rushes the other. usually on that scenario i use the m60 w/red dot and claymores and i usually succeed in pissing off/defending my building
