For rolling through a stop sign. I pulled out in front of the cop that pulled me over. I was nice and respectful and the cop let me go. Thats the first time that has ever worked for me. I just can't believe he let me go. If he would have ticketed me I would probably lose my license. Hooray for cool cops.
manners will go a loooooooooong way with cops
so will looking at them like:
"i'm sorry officer, i didnt realize i'd rolled through....yes sir, yes sir...thank you..have a good night officer!"
doesnt work for me, but i'm sure oz had a bottle of "pout" in the car, took a swig and got away, ticketless
I was just nice I didn't come up with any bs excuses. I just told the cop I was on my way home and he handed my license back and said go home.

dont take anything i say srsly. its the interwebs.
partial truth goes a long ways. cops probably already heard every excuse out there. i always admit to speeding but not as fast as i was actually going, and most of the time i get a "well watch your speed next time and be safe." and doing something similar will help out in almost every situation.

No. You're always fucced because of how you drive. I've driven a Neon for a lot longer than you and slammed a lot lower than you and a lot more noticeable than you and I only received a couple of tickets. Both speeding. Both deserved. Later, QD.

And that is why you get pulled over.
I've only been pulled over once in my Neon and that's when I still had the drive out tag. The officer just asked for the bill of sale and let me on my way after she got through looking at it. Other than that, the only ticket I've ever received was back ~1998 for speeding.
