I'm sure that someone has a friend that know a friend that works in emissions place ... so pm me a contact, cause somebody has to pass my 95 Civic.

However, that can be expensive. If it's a cat issue, you would probably have to borrow a cat pipe section from someone to go pass. I don't know too much about hondas, but don't they have short sections of pipe that contain the cats?
Otherwise, if you're throwing a CEL, get the code cleared by a mechanic and you'll probably pass unless they do a sniffer test.
Or just pay off the emissions guy, I gues.
"I get worried when it STOPS leaking."
You can't pass if a code has been cleared in the last 200 miles or so. Come to Florida, we are eco-unfriendly, no emissionsOriginally Posted by itsnotarex

I'm sorry, who do you know on here? Do you REALLY think anyone that knows someone that can pass you is going to tell you?!What a joke.

Unless it is turbo'd, there really isn't an excuse to run w/o a cat on a Civic.Originally Posted by miro_gt

^ isn't it obvious from my avtar ?
you can usually find people who will do it for 200 bucks. ask around.
Dude, I had the same problem.
My guy that used to do it doesn't work at the station anymore so your going to have to fix it cause I've been looking for someone for a while. Until then your just going to have to ride dirty.
I don't have tags, or insurance, and I haven't got pulled over yet. The key is to drive as little as possible.
