    not really a swap but might as well be. wiring nightmare = S5 J-spec into S4. should run today so all you rotorheads come on by. thanks for the encouragement sheldon

    Leave the OMP plugged in, but ziptie it out of the way & put a blockoff plate on .

    Of course it is. Put an LS1 in it . Seriously, just stay on top of the oil changes, keep the cooling system up to par & stay on top of the maintenance & you should be good.

    Next on the list is replacing most of the cooling system and changing out as much of the suspension components as possible ie- Energy suspension bushing kit, Full coil over kit, then i am getting the body handled ( cork sport over fenders and a repaint) then get some decent wheels.

    Well last person i know if who did the LS1 swap was disowned from the Rx-7 community and was hated by the LS1 groups.... kinda a black sheep of sorts. I love LS1 and they way the run but the belong in Vetts and GTOs.

    Lol, Yeah though a 2jz sounds good and runs great you cant beat the sound of a rotary. plus i figure if i keep it a rotary you guys will continually keep getting my business.

    Oh and on a side note Mainstream has to be the best Shop i have ever dealt with. With the customer service and willingness to do it right the first time and not take short cuts. I am very impressed and you will be getting a lot more of my money. Thanks Guys.

    Yes I agree. They are a great bunch of guys up there. I have known Charles since at his other shop. Once Rob continues to work on your car, you are in good hands.
