I want to finish my bike before I get back into the car, so ....
Already have here, need to install:
Graves cam
Graves slide stops
Brembo brakes, lines, pads, rotors
Marchesini wheels
CF fender and hugger
Still have to pick up/do, but will be within a month:
Graves valve springs
ISR brake master cylinder/lever and matching clutch lever
Ohlins forks
re-paint the Marchesini's
tune the suspension
tune the engine
Then the car gets a complete overhaul, it's going to get expensive ......

new paint job
My next mod is Marshalls car, he just doesnt know that yet...lol

I wondering if racing a Z06 on the highway made this mod needed?Originally Posted by tony

sure damn did..I felt the need to address that problem IMMEDIATELY.. shifting twice while others are in the same gear..Originally Posted by SilviaK93
also at the track I was shifting right at the 1/4 mile line.. with the new gears I shouldn't have to shift in 4th till 120mph.
you mean shift out of 4th until 120mph, correct? What you said sounds like your 3rd will pull to 120mph, and if so I need that gear!Originally Posted by tony
Mine:
3rd- 105mph
4th- @145mph
5th- @180mph
Where you at Tony tone!

lol you're right.. I was a little tired earlier. I'll be hitting 120mph shifting out of 4th.. I cant remember the exact MPH for each gear will but its basically the automatic Z's final drive.. more boost in each gear and less shifting.Originally Posted by SilviaK93

no, 1st gear finishes out @45mph I would say. That gear goes by so quick I cant react fast enough to read the speedo, and watch the rev limiter at the same time.
Did we start from a 50 roll? If so I was only in 3rd, I never raced you from a 2nd gear pull.

I thought it was 50mph but I could be wrong. My first gear is exactly the same.. that is what made launching at the track so hard even with slicks.

what kind of gains will you be looking at?Originally Posted by 05Tib

The throttle body and intake manifold boast a 5-10% ish increase in HP. The RIPP headers that have been dynod on a stock Tib with just a CAI (already got that) gave the Tib 32.6 whp increase and 25.9 lb/ft of torque increase. Then the exaughst is ur standard 10-15 Hp gain, i think, dont quote me on it. Thats the next step, there is more to come under the hood later... Going all NA though

after tuning it will put down 450whp.. thats guaranteed. I'm thinking about pushing it to 470whp but I'm not sure considering the way I drive.Originally Posted by SilviaK93

Immediately probably Ceramic Coating Header/Uppipe then Wrapping some of the downpipe for spool. Sleeving some of the I/C Piping. Trying out the HKS Fan Controller here tuesday. Finish the Heat Reduction stuff in the Car, then go for a bit more power.
Later on Clutch and possibly meth injection.
short shifter, skunk2 shift knob, tein/mugen coilovers, I/H/E (hopefully a s/c later)
new clutch, and then comes the turbo
Next mod..... Hmmmm... Does car wash count?
For the Jeep- new rear bumper and side rockers.
But before that Im gonna buy my bike, just havent had to time to go search for the right one yet.

lol it may confuse some but the badging on my car says Skyline 350GT as its called in Japan, I got vanity plates saying 350 TT now... G35 TT was takenOriginally Posted by Brett

has anyone gone with an extremely lightweight clutch and flywheel? I had this mod in my G before and I loved it but it was very hard to drive. I've been driving manuals for 9 years and I was stalling all over the place.
I've been thinkin about going with a stage 2 or stage 3 SPEC clutch whenever I need to get a new one... but I've heard they are so horrible for traffic or even normal daily driving that I'm not sure... might just stick with the king cobra clutch. Mustang clutches are hard enough as they are...Originally Posted by tony
If its like the clutch I experienced there is basically NO slippage, its either engaged or it stalls with no in between. The thing rev'd like a motorcycle and was very fun to drive but cruising was the worst.
