The benefits dont outweight the costs. And would be a pain if it failed on you.
I wouldnt get one on a street car.
but i dont drive it much, like a weekend car, or show car. so u think that would still be kinda pointless?
What's your setup right now?
This is one of those things you do when you cant find anywhere else to dump money into the car.
It's one of those things you do when your race motor has no pulleys.
Just hit up advance auto or autozone for a pulley driven, a SBC part can only be so expensive.

well its a 327,has headman headers, edelbrock im. edelbrock carbs, msd ignition, electric fan, 202 heads, mid cams, with head work and stroked. and tons of other things.
its a show car and the water pump i have on there now is shot, and its chrome, like everything else under the hood. so im wanting a polished or chrome pump anyway and ran across the eletric one, they are about the same price, so i was just wondering.
i would like to see pics of this car!![]()
here you go, pics not updated yet, the engine bay looks a lot better now with most stuff polished or chromed. also have new wheels and brakes.

very nice, that is a clean car
just imo, the car would look PERFECT with american mag 5 spokes!!!!
^I agree with LS2 kid. The car looks excellent but the wheels would set it off even more.
For 2010:Stroker+Boost=:boobies:
well the wheels are off, i bought american racing tork thrust for it a month agao, 17x8 front and 17x10 in rear. i have to get some updated pics of them.
i would go with a electric waterpump just make sure your alternator is good

thanks for the comment
i think i am going to go with an electric water pump,i was talking to a tech. guy from proform and he was telling me that is was very reliable, and would last as long as an normal pump. and they do come with a warrenty so if it ever fails then i can return it. and also being that its a daily or weekend car it should do just fine. so i think that its on with this thing.
good luck with it, hopefully you don't have any troubles with itOriginally Posted by jdmdb8itr
have you had one before, just asking or known anyone with one that gave them problemsOriginally Posted by LS2_KID
