    Default how does the REP system work?

    no this isnt a rep you, rep me, rep them, rep her, rep us, rep him, rep everyone thread. im just trying to figure out how they work? does it go by time on the site, and how many reps they have? cause ive seen guys with under 3 blocks or so give me more than one point, but the last rep i got was from somebody with 6 blocks and it was one point. either way just curious to see if anyone knows the real answer, ive been told it goes by how many points the rep'r has, but apparently thats not it....

    I'm wondering this as well. I have 5 bars and can only +1...weird.

    edit: I have 6 bars..(dunno when I got the 6th bar)

    -Each year your rep gets +1 stronger.
    -Certain amount of posts also makes them stronger.
    -Certain amount of reputation points makes them stronger.

    So with just year power, you're worth +2. Add 1000+ post counts and some rep points and you're worth +3.

    from my understanding rep works like this. you recieve reps based on your posts. if someone like something you post they can rep you. the amount of rep you can recieve depends on the number of total posts they have made. so say you say something i like and +rep you i can give you 3 points because i have 3k posts. but at the same time if you something i disagree with or think is retarded i can neg rep you taking away 3 points. for every 100 points of rep you have you get a green bar. when you hit 600 points your bars go from dark green to light and what your rep bar says is determined by the admins of the site. it is not time related as far as i can tell feel free to correct me if im wrong
