Im new....seriously
Whats up guys and girls of IA, finally signed up. Im new to the tuner car world, Ive had a truck and been into off roadin. Now im SO over that and trying to convert hahaha. Give me some advice about what cars to look for and not too. Im hopefully selling my truck very soon and gettin into a car.

If you don't know a lot about cars, I'd suggest starting out with a honda. Their easy to work on and good DD's. My opinion.

never said they werent, but i dont like the idea of being part of any particular group. buying a honda is like joining a cult, same for a 240. i like seeing cars that are less common that are built up right.

welcome. i also vote honda/acura...... who cares what everyone else is doing. hondas are great starter cars, cheap, reliable, have good gas mileage, and has great after market support. after u learn more about modding by working on your honda(if thats what u wanna do) then maybe you'll get another car. just dont get a miata (there's a reason why everyone doesn't have one)
haha thanks guys. but ya i got a 1994 Toyota Hilux (Pick up) SR5 4x4 Ext Cab, 3 inch body lift, 2 inch suspension (torsion crank and AAL), 35x12.50x15 BFG Mud Terrains, 4.88s factory gears, Quicklock Auto locker in the rear. Im trying to get rid of it and get into a car. Something Rwd capable of a lot of power. haha

If you want to be a follower and not original, get a Honda or a 240. If you want something that will turn heads, work on an older(mid 80's and beyond) Civic, most any 80's model sports cars(Starion, Daytona, Omni GLHS, Corolla, Datsun). They are much nicer to look at fixed up than any of the 90's and up Hondas or mostly anything else. Later, QD.
