Default Snoop Dogg: Mad Props for Creativity

Being that I don't watch TV, I just saw Snoop's "Sexual Eruption" video for the first time earlier this week. Anyone born 1980 & prior should be able to get a kick out of this one. I had to give Snoop props for this one. I couldn't stop laughing

Hell yeah. I didn't know that Snoop did the all of the lyrics himself. I could have sworn that was T-Pain in the beginning

Oh fuccing God damn. Snoop, Snoop, Snoop. The video is cool, but why in the fuccing world would you want to sound like those other non-singing idiots? At least there is always Murder Was the Case if you wanna listen to good Snoop Dogg. Later, QD.

The tube is a voice synthesizer. It's an air tube that crries his voice to a machine that alters the sound of the noise being fed into it(his voice here). Roger of Zapp & Roger used it all the time. HERE!!! is an explanation of it. Later, QD.

the song itself might not be, but the way he is presenting the song is very creative. could have easily been a regular video with a club full of girls and a bunch of rappers drinking and throwin money in the air.

None of it is creative. Good? Yes(video that is...not the song). Creative? No. He did something that has been done for years. Like I said, the video is good, but not original or creative. Later, QD.

I didn't say it was original but it was creative. Stepping outside of the box in regards to making the video was a pretty creative idea. The way the video began (being made to look as if it were being played from a VHS) and the whole glam 80's look was definitely creative for a "rap" video. It was paying homage to an era so there were things/artists that were mimicked (Prince for example) but the over all idea came to fruition through a creative process.

And still not creative. Creative goes along with originality. Like I said, it was a cool video, though. Later, QD.

No argument that creativity and originality goes hand in hand but, it is possible to be creative without being original.

    ...and as stated, cool video

LOL!!! Come on, you have to admit that the jeri curl was one of the major low's of that era. I think that's why people used to cover their furniture with plastic. LOL!!!

The music, on the other hand, was more on point than not

I don't know. No more "low" than everyone nowadays sporting the long, tight "dred" style hair(Lil Jon style). Later, QD.
