Newb, 91 Toyota Celica S/T

Hello everyone! i found this website and thought it pretty badass, so i figured i would join up! My real name is Seth, and im nextdoor in Alabama. I drive a 91 Celica S/T, 5 speed, 1.6 S.O.H.C, with some Focal F5 wheels, and last week i put a blue neon kit under it. I like fast cars, and 4X4 trucks! Im just a country boy that broke down and bought a import. My car is not fast by any means. The celica is straight piped from the headers back to a Flowmaster Super 40 Series muffler. i have to say i think it sounds pretty good. But anyways! Here are some pics! tell me what yall think! thx

if i had the money to drop it, and put some nice 15s or 16s on it, i would. but im broke. im still in school and dont quite get enough hours at work to do anything with it money wise. I bought the neons cause at night it makes the car look better. if you saw this car in person you would be able to tell that it has a lot of imperfections. the paint is going, the right front fender is full of bondo, the hood got crapped on by birds and ate the clear coat off, etc etc. I thought about swapping the motor a while back cause i found the same car at a junk yard with a 3SGTE single turbo for $300, but that was before i got a job, so i didnt have any money what soever so i couldnt get it. Im about to sell the car to a guy i work with, then he is gonna rebuild it and make a showcar/ricer out of it. Then im buildin a motor in a truck to drive. i gave $800 for the car with the focals on it. But the thing is it has a salvage title and 240,XXX miles on it. it still runs good and has a good amount of life left. i bought it to drive daily, the only thing ive done to it is the exhaust and neons. everything else is stock.

sorry to hear about the situation financially and all but....

1. The neons not make the car look better just more riced out
2. They are illegal as ****
3. The exhaust is still fuggly it looks like a polished exhaust on a lincoln town car.
4. Don't call what someone else's plans are for your car rice when in fact thats what your car is

They are illegal if they are on while the car is running down the road. But as long as the car is at a standstill or parked, cops cant say anything.

lighter, my rims weigh 46.5 lbs a piece. thats alot more than the 26 lbs for the factory rims (that includes tires)

b/c we all know painting stock rims is much less rice-tastic than neons....give the kid a break, who gives a **** what he does with the car as long as it makes him happy.

a week before i sold it, by this time i was doing what i wanted, it still had the stock z6 in it but was now turbo charged...this was in 2003 iirc, and i still consider some things in that picture rice...but thats just me

Damn, things in ATL are different compared to here. Here the cars with the 6 inch tips, and the unneeded 5 foot tall spoilers are considered "rice". truly, i like how my car sounds. its not extremly loud like some, and i like the tone. most around here have cheap, knockoff cans on them that sound like sh!t. ive been complimented on the way my car sounds compared to others alot. but, like stated above, people have their own opinions. my car is louder now then in the vid. i posted, i had the caty cut of. ill get an updated vid later.

ohh and i am lookin for different wheels, but i dont know what i want. i do want smaller wheels cause the car rides ruff with the ones on it, and tires are alot higer and ive talked about lowering the car before, but i cant find the parts to doit anywhere. Or the $$$. any pointers? like i said im new to the whole import scene. i was in a 4x4 since i was 16 till i bought the celica. i dont know what is popular on these nowadays. thx
