Prayers to them! That's not an intersection to run a redlight at. People driving on 41 thru that intersection do well over 45, more like 55 or more.

The speed limit through that intersection on 41 is 55. It is 55 up until just before the Canton Road overpass headed south, headed north it is 55 until just after Barret Parkway if memory serves (Just drove through there this afternoon, was in an accident mid-october at 41 and Barret Parkway, that section of road is nasty)
My prayers will be with those involved and their families, no matter what happened it's always upsetting when there's a serious collision. Leadfoot: You said fatalities, was that confirmed then? That's so sad

bells ferry makes a big loop from the kennesaw area down towards the marietta area...
like if you're heading south on 575 and take exit 4 (bells ferry) if you go right you're going into kennesaw/acworth area..
if you go left it'll take you south to marietta..

Bells ferry runs all the way down until it turns into Church Street in Marietta, going past Old 41, 41, goes across Barret/Piedmont up to Chastain all the way up past 92. O_o
Bells Ferry meets 92 just north of the Canton Road overpass, and just about two miles south of Barret Parkway and 41. O_o

Was actually just out there to pick up a hamburger and saw that you sir, are correct. The 55mph zone is in fact between those two intersections, and the distance from where I was wrong is minimal, to say the least (100, 150 yards maybe?) Eh, the point was that the speed limit changes right about that point, part of why people are always blazing through that light.
