Attention People How do you unlock a cell phone?

MY roomy got a Replacement Phone from AT&T and gave us his old Flip phone a Motorolla V220 that I would love to use but we have Cingular..

Anybody know How I could Get it to work?

put in te phone name and unloack after it in Google and u will find a good code generator for the phone..

example "Motorola v220 Unlock Codes"

i had to do the same for a phone i had also..

well at&t and cingular are now the same company. shouldnt the phones work anyway? or was this phone acquired b4 the merge?

i don't think it will work unless u put the SIM card into it if it has a place for one which i dont think it does

i got mines unlocked for 2 dolla at tmobile store some guy did it for me on the low low lcated near singeton

I think anyone that says they can UNlock it can also charge calls to your phone when its them thats talkin..

enter the last 4 digits of ur phone # .... thats wat i had to do for verizon

I had an ATT phone, and it was busted up and didn't work well any more. My friend gave me his old motorola, cause he got a razor. I just put my ATT sim card in it, and it worked fine. I didn't do anything to unlock it.
