Halo the Movie
Okay so we've all heard rumors of the movie being scrapped and then restarted. Apparently Microsoft and FOX have given it the Go-Ahead, as they've been through 2 or 3 different directors.
Whos to play master chief?
Ive heard everything from denzel washington, bruce willis and ed harris....
Also heard sam jackson might play Sgt. Johnson..

it really all depends on the cast rather this movie is going to be any good or not.

Their Master Chief suits are amazing. Microsoft bought 50 of them. The Gears of war ones are better.

i agree. i dont see a movie turning out good at all
as of late october the movie was scaped......with it over the $200 million budget,it was stopped...but maybe it will get picked up one day
Film adaptation
An upcoming film adaptation of the series. The script for the movie was to be written by Alex Garland,[35] though writer D.B. Weiss, author of Lucky Wander Boy is currently set to rewrite it, using elements of the Garland draft.[36] The movie was to be developed and released by Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox, under the creative oversight of Microsoft, but there have been complications with the distributors, and it is subject to change.[37] Peter Jackson will be the executive producer.[38] The movie is expected to release 2009, due to difficulties in selecting a director for the project.[39] The director has since been revealed as Neill Blomkamp.[39] The film has continually resumed and stopped preproduction;[40] while Blomkamp has declared the project "dead" [41], Jackson says the film will still be made.[42]

i've always said that in order to get a perfect hero, or perfect villian, you have to find an actor that's BARELY known, as in starred in less than 2 movies.... because if you get a major famous actor people will see the other roles, for example if bruce willis did it, i'd see butch from pulp fiction, not master chief, same with denzel, i'd see a damn fotball coach...
like the villian in "no country for old men" was perfect. no one's ever heard of him..
