    It's official. My recruiter came by my job today to personally congratulate me on my MOS.

    For those of you a little behind par...I applied for my MOS, or "job", and I had to wait to hear back from command as to if I got it or not.

    A big deal? Kinda. If I didn't get that MOS, I was leaving for boot 2008JAN22, and I have no idea what job I was gonna go for if I didn't get what I wanted... However...because I've been approved for this MOS, I leave for boot on 2008FEB25...2 days before my birthday. I'll be graduating basic 2008MAY23

    I...am...STOKED.

    I cannot wait. I can't wait to go to basic. I can't wait to finish basic. I can't wait to graduate basic. I can't wait to go to MCT and my school for my MOS...AND I'M JUST SO DAMN HYPED UP ABOUT IT!

    Oh...my MOS. Right. It's Aircraft mechanic. I figure it's right up my ally, and when I retire, aircraft techs are offered position with airlines starting at like 80K a year. In addition, I'm also going to the Marines to further my education. Finally...I want to use this particular MOS to help me make my way into earning my private pilot's license...thus having that turned into a commercial pilot's license...

    Yeah, I'm pretty damn hyped up! I think I need a beer to celebrate, LoL.

    No idea...won't know til I get through my actual school... It'll VERY unlikely be the Harrier. The Osprey is coming in to be popular and is weeding out some of the choppers and harriers...so my guess is it'll be that. But I wouldn't mind the F18. That'd be effin' sweet...
