Computer Router question

Ok, I have a SpeedStreamer router. Came with Altell's aggrement. I bought a Linksys-G a long time ago but couldnt get it working.

If I purchase another router (if u guys can help me choose) can i just pull out the SpeedStreamer and replace it with the new router or run them in a series?

Yeah I can help but I dont quite understand the question. So you have a modem (cable/dsl) that came with your agreement, and you're in the market for a wireless router?

lol..ummm...

I have DSL. the ethernet cable from my computer goes to my router provided by Altell (it sucks. it keeps over heating and booting me and i can't play 360 live). I wont be going wireless b/c I dont have anything wireless. I just want to replace it with a better router. possible?
