Default All Time Favorite Top 10 Rap Albums

if you could only choose 10 albums for your collection, what would they be? here are my picks.

    1) Eminem-Marshall Mathers LP, pure genious, and very dark album
    2) Snoop Doggy Dogg-Doggystyle, a classic, MUST HAVE
    3) Mobb Deep- THe infamous mobb, classic, and one of my favorite albums
    4) Mobb Deep- Hell on Earth, classic and one of the my favorite albums ever
    5) Dre Dre- Chronic original, do i really need to say anything?
    6) Gang Starr Greatest Hits- tons of oldies and stuff off Moment of truth
    7) 50 Cent-Get rich or die trying, IMO one of the greatest albums in the last ten years
    8) WuTang Clan- enter the 36 Chambers, need i say more.....
    9) OutKast-Southernplayalisticcadillacmusic-put the south on the map
    10) Nas-Illmatic, his only great album IMO

Except for Fem and Cypress, good list. I didn't listen to Quik back in the day, because of obvious reasons, but I like his shit now. He is coming out with a new CD in August. Later, QD.

Yep, I know that. I was just clarifying that it was DOC's album, not DOC and Dre. When DOC put out No One Can Do It Better, it was on Ruthless Records. When Dre split from Ruthless, DOC went with him. Later, QD.

Dre was the DJ. I swear that when I had an original copy of the cd, that on the spine it said "The DOC and Doctor Dre". I could be wrong. But i know that Dre was the DJ on this album. Either way, it's a top ten cd. Grand Finale is one of the best collaborations of all time.

Dayton Family has a new CD out. And I think I included DOC in my Top 10. If not it should have been. That was another Ruthless classic. And Dre was not the DJ. He was sole producer of the whole album. Later, QD.
