somebody just tried to break into my house

me and my mom just walked in ( about an hour ago ) and the dogs were goin crazy at the back door . so i told my mom to hand me her gun (380) and proceeded outback . some stupid mother****er was climbing up a ladder to MY window . i told him to ****ing freeze and he reached behind him so i popped off a warning round . well he jumped off the ladder( 10ft at the most ) and ran . so we called the police and now they are trying to find him. messed up thing is i live in a nice ****ing neigherborhood . ever since the buses run from atl to douglasville , we have had problems . im bout to say **** this and move farther out towards bama.

laddar was in the basement , he moved it , and my mom just got her gun license and she was informed you had to give a warning shot , she just didnt have what it takes to pull the trigger . i'm kinda owrried bout her packin , i think if she has to pull it , it will get taken from her , from lack of guts.

My bro was home at the time and the guys knocked..my bro looked through the peep hole didn't recognize the 2 guys so didn't answer, but stood at the door to see what they were going to do. Well i have 2 dogs which they heard bark, and my brother heard one of the guys say "i'm not scared of no dog, if anything we will just run".

my bro had to leave for work not long after that, and he saw one of the guys standing in the parking lot near his car..as soon as my bro starts to pull off he sees the guy get something out of his car and walk down the breezeway towards the apt..my brother pulls a reverse back to look down the breezeway to see what the dude is doing..the guy looks back sees my brother and takes off running..yells for his buddy who was in the building next to us, get in the car and speeds off.

Defense of habitation; (here habitation means dwelling, motor vehicle, or place of business) A person is justified in the use of force which is intended or likely to cause death or great bodily harm only if:

1. A person is breaking\has broken into your home in a violent and tumultuous manner, and you think that the intruder is going to assault you or someone else living there.
2. A person who is not a member of the family or household and who unlawfully and forcibly enters the residence and you know it is an unlawful entry.
3. The person using such force reasonably believes that the entry is made or attempted for the purpose of committing a felony therein and that such force is necessary to prevent the commission of the felony.

heh, I'll never forget when I was up in Ohio visiting my dad and we heard someone breaking into his townhome. My dad grabbed his handgun ( Glock 9mm ) and walked down to the top of the stairs as the guy was coming out and shot out his knee cap, the guy fell down the stairs, hit the bottom, my dad walked down to him, and proceeded to pistol whip him across teh head rendering him unconcious, then proceeded to call 911. The operator was a bit shocked lol.
