    Default I need an obd2 favor ;)

    Well actually it's my friend He needs to get the emissions done on his 98 civic. I've gone to a few sources that i've been referred to, but they've both declined m....I mean him Who/where can he go to?

    They can't 'help' you with an OBDII car, because it reads the vin from the ECU, meaning they can't just use another car and put in your vin like on an OBDI.

    hm...I dunno. I had that problem with my honda, so I just put the cat back on and re enabled the secondary o2.

    if u know someone at honda that can change the vin in the ecu then ur straight.... all u have to do is take the vin off the car that ur tryin to pass and program it in the ecu thats goin to runs for the car... then bring an old emissions test with the vin on it and tell him to run it..... as long as the vin in ecu matches the vin on the car then ur golden.... he can type in the vin on the car.... u might wanna try the emissions station at 78 and highpoint rd. in snellville.. i work at the exhaust shop down the street.....

    i got help just recently, but it's wayy too expensive =\

    LOL me too but we had to have another car with the same obd2 to do it...... Good luck its not easily done, might just want to fix whatevers wrong or figure something temporary out.......
