Daytime video from this weekend

Featuring b0ki, koffeebean, Thrust, Z U L8R and yours truly. Thanks to hydroshutter for the awesome video taking skillz and Tracer for the video editting, lol.

I posted most of the good runs. I'll try not to make too many excuses. I mis-shifted against David (Z U L8R) on our best run. I was slowly inching back but it wasn't enough. The other runs we had some bike in front of us.

When I ran Thrust, he misshifted once and that's how I was able to keep up. We ran 3 times but there was a truck in front of our last run and I let off.

Boris and I had some really good runs. No excuses, full bottle pressure, A/C was off, no UFOs flying in front... just good clean runs.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Jeff and I were getting off on my exit and we lined up with what looked like a GSXR600. I pulled him hard twice. Not sure if it was modded but I'd say at least a bus or so.

We're going to try to get a daytime meet together in the next few weeks. I think everyone is tired of watching a pair of headlights going at it.

Good vid, with some great runs. I don't know wtf was up with my car during our 2nd run. It was like I hit a wall as I approached 140. But all is well, since my car is running fine. You guys are going to be the death of my motor . I think thal I'll start saving up for that 302 aluminum shortblock.

Besides, all of this was computer generated and processed to only give the illusion of speed. We actually never went over 55mph.

Well.... the other cars in the video are no joke.

Think about it ... cobra weights about 3800 lbs... correct me if i am wrong and has some short gears compare to the C5 Z06 only 3150 lbs well it had one extra passenger... long gears.. and makes about 470- rwhp.... so sounds about right

That was the only vid worth posting. He pulled on the other runs but we had some bike that drove between us and slowed down in front of us. I missed 3rd on that run in the video. We're going to try to rematch in the near future.
