    Default Anyone vouch for an LG LCD?

    I'm picking up a new 47" LG LCD 1080p tomorrow, anybody have any experience with one? They good bad or so so?

    You can't really go wrong with LG, Samsung or Sharp. Just make sure you have a decent surge protector. Learned that one the hard way.

    i wouldnt vouch for one.

    average problems per lg lcd per year is 19/100.
    and when ur dealing with lcd. thats 50% unrepairable

    they have alot of reports of stuck pixels or blown pixels.

    also their picture quality is faded and washed out. The colors arent vibrate.

    Get anything but a lg or vizio or sylvania.

    Oh well, its here in my bedroom its huge and sweet. I've got a four year service plan thing, so as long as it doesn't fall over or get hit with a blunt instrument it gets fixed/replaced.
