Namco X Capcom

Just picked this up and thought I'd share some info on a pimp @ss game that will never make it stateside. It takes all the characters from Namco and Capcom games and puts them together in an action, strategy-style RPG. Apparently out of print, you should be able to get a copy from Himeyashop, CDJapan.co.jp, or Play-Asia.com. Gameplay is a lot like Final Fantasy Tactics, Disgaea, or Fire Emblem at first, but once you confront an opponent, it goes into a 2-D side-scroller in which you input combos to attack you opponent with.

The game is fun as all hell and if you get the chance to grab a copy, I highly recommend it. Though you will need a swap-magic, mod-chip, or Japanese PS2.

Only $30 for a brand new copy. I played it a while back when my buddy had a copy but his cat destroyed it. Game is fun as hell and I'm really going to have to brush up on my moonspeak (Japanese) to really enjoy it. Waiting for my Swap-Magic flip-top now.

Kinda-sorta. It's a turn-based strategy game at first, but once you attack it goes into a side-scrolling 2-D combo fighter. It's pretty unique actually.
