LOL, yeah that one is a bit different than the rest, If it had some regular back camber it would look a LOT better. I think I'm going to remove this one.

So what exactly constitutes VIP style? 4 doors, slammed, and big rims? I'm not trying to bash or anything, because I really do think that some of them look good. I just hadn't ever heard "VIP style" until I came to this site.

these are not vip. Ther just luxury.
VIP is on platforms that are specifically classifed for them like the old school Mercedes or the new ones, Infiniti F50 CIMA, Y50 Fuga, and Y34 Cedric, Lexus GS300,430,LS 400, 430, 460, SC 430, and Nissan 350Z. No BMW or G35 and no Altima or Maxima. None of that. AND NO CAMRY AND ACCORD DO NOT ACCOUNT FOR THEM!!!
Why Yakuza do not drive them nor will they ever. They drive heavy expensive old school luxury vehicle that are dropped insane and have crazy offset. I ono why BMW is not in the mix but very few few drive BMWs but they are not modified.
that v'dub is still pretty nice........

Is there an official list or something? I mean where did it come from? And how is a 350z an expensive, heavy luxury vehicle?Originally Posted by Crazy Asian

That's how it is. VIP trend was started by the mob Yakuza. There the originals who started the whole trend. Before even everyone started to put DUBS on there cars. These guys were riding 19-20s on the car...so lowered I ono how they can drive it. The list I put is what a VIP car should be. One of those platforms. Those are considred true VIP due to the fact that's what the cars Yakuza drove.
And over there they dont care due to the fact that most mob bosses just rode in the back while being chauffered.
I understand but you cant drive those cars on the road. Look at the camber, i mean im having to get new rims for the rear and Im not even lowered. Unless the take out the fender wells and get a huge widebody its never gonna work.

this the 350z VIP. Im not sure on the story on that but the 350z is very popular or soemthing. Not sure I have to ask my friend.
Most suspensions of those cars are bagged or coilovers. They usually just set them like for stance or some drive it like that. So with a switch they control it.
that's exactly what i was thinkin

This looks like a photoshop. Look at the wheel wells.
Anyway, I like the VIP style.
poster child for VIP in my book..... mmm sexy
thats how a real VIP rolls
I'm really diggin the Benz. Dope cars.
Can't drive them because of the Camber? . I drove with my frame 3.5inches off the ground for 30k miles with the same set of tires and a nearly 3degree negative camber, in the front. Toe is what eats your tires.Originally Posted by DRIFTT
Look at the bodywork on those cars. I don't doubt custom shortened control arms/rod ends are under there as well to help tuck the low offset wheels.
We cut fenders, firewalls, bed floors, cab walls, etc. all the time. Different strokes for different folks. Never say it will never work because some idiot out there has probably done it.
some of those look pretty nice, but others just look like an expensive form of rice
here is a clean car, googled it real quick.

the first picture is definitly the best look imo
most of what I see here is considered 'lux' styling, which is VIP styling cues applied to any car, it's a trend more about the look than the actual car.
i like the first one a lot
