1992 Nissan 240sx HICAS Edition

The HICAS has been eliminated completely, stock 240 power steering pump installed, stock 240 power steering resevoir installed, brand new pressure hose, has solid rear subframe installed.

It still has the HICAS Viscus LSD and sway bars.

I kept the ABS too.

Its got a rattle can paint job (still dark red pearl) and black roof.

The exhaust is straight pipe all the way back to a apex'i knockoff muffler (buying a 3 inch system and a Magnaflow tip soon)

The interior is all black, and is about to get a black carpet and racing seats with a Gforce harness system (I will probably them out unless they offer the right kinda cash)

Brand new racing steering wheel

Short Throw Shifter

New stage 1 clutch from Competition Clutch (Just had my first event in it and still grabs like gold)

Ebay Full Coilovers in the rear

Cut/Lowering springs (cant tell) in the front

Autozone intake

Fresh plugs, oil, radiator fluid, oil filter, fuel filter




The problems

Its either the gauge cluster or a wiring problem: the RPM doesnt read right sometimes, the E-Brake light comes on when I take sharp right turns, and the oil light comes on when I take sharp left turns lol <---I have no idea what all that is, I havent examined the wiring yet, but Im guessing they touch another wire or the chassis when I turn.

Other than that it runs like a champ, beats other KA's like nothing, I really dont know why. I advanced the timing a little, but that shouldnt give it that big of a difference.

It was in a fender bender before I bought it, the radiator has a dent in it, but no cracks, and the front bumper is bent, so it will never mount up to the fender correctly on the driver side. I did a pretty good job, but you can still tell.

fixed the issue actually, the only thing that was wrong with it was the airfilter kept falling off fucking up the MAF sensor, got that fixed too. This car is 10x better than how i got it. Ask anyone who saw the car before, and now. Just got done painting it, remounting the bumper. Looks way better than even the pics i have before. After work tomorrow Im gonna wetsand it and take pics.

The MAF sensor was going crazy because the airfilter wasnt staying on, now that it stays on the MAF (or Mass Air Flow) Sensor sends a consistant airflow signal to the ECU making it run normal. All those problems I had before I fixed. Adjusted timing, replaced gaskets/seals, did a complete tuneup. Now, my sparkplugs are clean, the motor doesnt sputter, and the throttle response is like a normal KA. I haul around 18s like nothing, the car is fine. I got this car in crap condition, and already its on its way to being the way I want it.

I love when people use this as an excuse to bump their price. Just because YOU got the car in shitty condition and fixed it up (probably for a good bit of money) does not mean its more valuable!! A 240 owned by an old granny that's in mint condition running smooth and everything would be worth MUCH more than your car, a beating to shit car that got "fixed" is not the same way.

It's like my friend with a legacy GT that blew the motor, he got it swapped and the swap costed 3k, and he then assumed the car would be worth 3k extra since people obviously will care that you invested that much into it.

I did all the work myself. And the price is firm because it is my daily driver and Im not going to give it up for less than that. Im in no rush to sell it, so Im not going to give it out for cheap. If I dropped the price to 3000 this thing would be sold in a heartbeat, unlike santacruz's, my motor doesnt sp-sp-sputter, nor does it have a tan interior. Ive seen stock 240s go for this much, and just because the motor ran terrible (for reasons that were EASILY fixed) I dont see a problem. No motor will run 100% all the time, and stuff breaks, therefore anything you say concerning the motor running bad at ONE POINT in its existance, does not really effect anything. Ive invested well more than the difference, therefore I would be losing money, but I want to cut my losses as much as possible, especially if its my DD. Like I said before, Im just testing waters and for bitches to get off my nuts, but fags like santacruz cant seem to read, much less talk or type without babbling like Helen Keler.

Price is $3500 firm, I dont care if you like it or not, someone will get it if they want it enough. If they dont, I dont care, because I like it just the way it is and everything works fine besides the power steering.

NO STOCK 240 is worth OVER 2 GRAND. I would pay 2 grand for a immaculate condition 240 with generally low miles. Why would you spend 3x the insurance cost on a stock car? Be fo real homeboyyyyyy.
