I was wondering if anybody knew a place I could get the pioneer ipod adapter (CD-IB100II) installed for cheap.

yeah it looks fairly simple, but the thing is, i have never really taken anything on my car apart or even installed anything. i just needed some step by step instructions on how to install this thing. pictures would also help a lot. i drive a 03 honda accord. thanks.

do u have an aftermarket cd player?
    take cd player out
on back of radio you will have a BUS cord
match the color of the plug with the color on the cord from the ipod thing
hook the power and ground up to the radio so it turns on whe the radio does
fish the ipod cord down the back and find sum where for it to come out and be accessible
    reinstall cdplayer
before putting in all the screws make sure it works
u should be able to find on here a post about how to take your dash apart
u wont learn unless u try, go for it

I installed a new head unit, speakers, and the adapter you've got on my tC with no prior experience (and I hate wires). If you get good instructions, give it a shot!

your gonna pay just as much for the ipod adapter installation as a cd player install because its the same process minus alittle bit. its just a plug in the back if its similar to my avic d3.. just look up sheets on how to take it apart online. they have how to all over the place

actually the thing im having a problem with is where to put the adapter, where to pull the wire that connects to the ipod out, and how and where to connect the ground wire.

if you take out the large open/close pocket their is planty of room to hide the ipod brain behind or under the pocket and re-install the pocket and have the ipod cord in the pocket so you can just open the pocket plug in the ipod and close the pocket and call it a day.

underneath the steering column above the pedals do u have and removable plastic, remove it, and place inside there, all the wires are long enuf, though the ipod cord should be routed away from the drivers feet, possibly the passenger side so not to tangle the drivers feet
