despite my name im going to start a 240sx project in the next month.
im curious would it be easier to do the SR swap from a rolling shell, or get a running car and swap the engine?
may be a self explanitory question but i didnt kno if a shell would come with all the right hoses, cables ect.
    what do yall think?

im doing SR either way..i just thought it would b major plug and play if u pull the motor our prolly ka-t or evn ca will the hoses and ect.instead of just a shell ready for engine that would save time but it prolly wouldnt have the hoses and everything.

new engine means new hoses anyways so you really aren't making sense

like..if i bought a shell.it most likly wont have the radiator, or throtle cable and what not..but if i buy a running or alteast car with a motor already in it. i can pull that and pretty much match up everything and changed what needs to be changed, extended, re located.

a running car would be easier, but if u find a good deal on a shell then pick it up, u can find 240 parts EVERYWHERE. and its all pretty easy to do. welcome to the "i work on 240's club"

ka24de's are pretty much plug and play (minus wiring harness and ecu ) on the ka24d's you need power steering lines off a 91+ and a gauge cluster off a 91+.

im sure you could pick up a shell and buy a complete sr then whatever parts your missing you can use a local junkyard to find some parts, those cars are scrapped apart everywhere
