Not me. That's one of those "mods" that you do just because you have an extra $20 lying around and you absolutely have to spend it. SO you buy anything you can with that amount. Hence eye-lids. Later, QD.

lol i meant i hate to see when they go out of style and you see a bunch of eyelids on cars when they need to get rid of it...that's what i'm going to hate to see, like when having one windshield wiper was the thing to do and when it was over it was like, 'put on your other wiper.'

Not me. I was pretending to ride around like I was in a Benzo.

On the real. You'll never guess what they used to make back in the mid 80's. They actually made adhesive-backed windshield wipers for the headlights like the Benz. You actually just stuck them on the headlight. Had the wire for the fluid also. I had a set. Lolol. Later, QD.

Nice one. You ask a question, get an answer and insult the person that gives you an honest answer. And you're right, you probably don't have near the money I have, but I chose the car in the sig, along with my other 3 new cars, because of the classic-ness of it. Next time, if you can't handle a response that you didn't want to hear, shut the fuck up. Later, QD.

I was going to post an honest answer until I read a series of post between QD and the Originator of the thread.

I will no longer submit my answer unless paid!

I believe that there are companies that make Boser style hoods for the TT...I would go with that as opposed to the eyelids....

Pointless, useless weight added to the car, money wasted, can reduce lighting capabilities in some cases, and it doesn't look good enough to justify.

What kind of weight do you think eyelids add, 1 pound?

In this case his car has projectors, won't be affect by the lids. Projector has cut off line, and cut off line is no where near the top.
