I don't think its weird because both are of age. My ex-boyfriend were 5 years apart, me being the younger one. Let me just put it out there he fucked the relationship up by cheating.

personally i dont think that an 18 year old is mature enough to date anyone in their twenties... I dont see anything wrong with an age gap.. but if your 23 and your dating an 18 year old .. she is still a teenager.. totally pathetic in my book..

my rule of thumb is simple.. teenagers should date teenagers..

and if your in your twenties and one of you can get into a club and the other one cant than there is a problem!

awe, that's just mean.

but when i was 16, i dated a guy who was 19, and we had alot of problems. it wasn't really that he was more "mature" than me, but it just didn't work. i'm 17 now, and personally, i wouldn't date a 22 or 23 year old, no matter how much i liked him.
save yourself the trouble and time.
there's plenty of girls that are 21 and older, that are just as good, and better than this girl...
please go find one of them.

& no, nothing wrong with a 23 y/o guy dating an 18y/o but I doubt it would last.Two different stages of life. Its different if its a 35y/o with a 30 y/o cus theyre at the same stages but thats just my opinion.

^^ I can NOT agree with you all. Yeah it sounds logically right, but I was in that situation and maybe it was because I am a female (females tend to mature faster than men) but I was mature enough to be in one. I was actually 17 and he was 22.

Our relationship actually lasted a good 6 yrs before we started clashing, now on year #10 we have just decided to let it go. He was the immature one who STILL can't settle down.
