You guys are crazy... When has Sopranos ever been a action series? I thought the ending was brilliant, and leaves the possibility of a movie. The constant paranoia Tony faces everyday, all the teasers like the guy walking into the bathroom, meadow having a shitty time parking her car, the black dudes... I thought it was one of the nerve racking scenes I've ever seen in The Sopranos. The only two possible conclusions are, that Tony and his whole family got whacked, or life goes on, Carmella being a good mother, AJ being a whiny little prick, Meadow trying to save the world, and TOny just being constantly paranoid. People that are always expecting people to get whacked, or violent bloodbaths have been watching The Sopranos for all the wrong reasons

I thought the ending was very good. When they were in the diner and the camera would pan over to a different suspicious person it really kept me on the edge of my seat. I thought for sure that tony was going to get it. It leaves you wondering.

Yeah I was hoping it would end like The Departed with a bunch of unexpected head shots. I read something about in the first season whe Big Pussy made his first kill he talked about how your sitting there having fun and the BAM in just ends. i also read where the producer or director or writer or whoever said he could not justify a mass murder because he respected the characters too much or some shit. I think the diner should have fucking blown up.
