    Hey guys,

    anyone here tried Axxis brake pads? or Hawk?

    which is the beast brake pad for the money? on the 240 i used to run just pep boy or autozone ceramics...but now on my type-s i want a higher quality pad.

    anythoughts? :boobies:

    I use axxis, they are good but they throw off alot of dust, stop good etc. Hawk are also good pads to use.

    damn are there any good pads out there that have good braking force but low dust? do hawks produce less dust?

    If you want performance, get Hawks. If you want cheap, get Axxis.

    No street pad stops as well as Hawk HP+.

    No street pad is as noisy or dusty either... LOL.

    For pure stopping power, you cant beat it.

    It will also stand up to track days like a champ too.

    i had Axxis Ultimates on a WRX, they had great initial bite but i didn't have much time to use them because i traded the car in 5 days after getting it back from the upgrades.

    i have Hawk HPS pads on my STi. they're a good all-around pad, dust doesn't get too bad, but i think i'm going to get the HP+ next, just to try to get something more aggressive (i doubt i'll need it for daily driving, though).
