    IA has so many threads that are just to damn funny... people arguing over the lamest shit.

    I found one and for some reason thought it was to damn funny....

    You have to be a pathetic, no lifer to even consider spending over $100 on shoes. Let alone $500. There's definitely something lacking upstairs if you think wearing a pair of hundred dollar sneakers is a "rep builder." I hate spending $50 on a pair of shoes. Later, QD.

    Hahah funny thread.

    I haven't spent more than $50 on a pair of shoes since I don't know when.

    I do know that really expensive dress shoes are supposed to last a very long time if well taken care of. My manager right now has a pair of $350 shoes, but he isn't that wealthy. He just bought the one nice pair knowing he won't have to buy another for a long time.

    I think its funny that Bapes were originally called Bathing Ape, which was supposed to be an inside joke against black peope, and now they cant get enough of it.

    Three pair in three years working on cars is pretty good. The chemicals boots are exposed to in an automotive shop environment will eat any boot within a year. Also they were comfortable as hell. I filled one of them up with gasoline two days after I got a new pair and it still lasted as long as the other one. Have you ever seen what brake clean does to plastic and rubber on contact.

    Why do people freak out over shoes anyway? There's nothing wrong with having a nice pair and sometimes even over paying for some that you really want for some reason. But to get all worked up over shoes???? I don't get it.

    I like tennis shoes just like the next guy, but I just don't see the infatuation of having 15 different pairs that you never wear anyway. Again, I don't get it.
