    Default just thought i'd share

Just before i closed my store tonight, my former manager came running in the store telling me to call 911 because a guy had rolled a 240sx in the middle of the street. After calling for an ambulance , I came outside to find that apparently he was flying down L'ville hwy doing about 70-80 [with his lights off] when a 98 civic turned left in front of him. He tried to miss the civic, but swiped the entire side right before jumping the curb, leveling 2 signs, going airborne in the process and rolling the car twice into a big telephone pole [which is now very bent over] the passenger was out walking around, but the driver was crushed against the steering wheel and his legs crushed by the entire rack and pinion. When EMS showed up they had to take sledgehammers and bang the rack out from the other side.

I had to say somethin to someone considering it's been on my mind all evening and has seriously reminded me once again why i pretty much gave up reckless driving a while ago.

He probably turned his lights off after the wreck so not to blind other drivers, it's the right thing to do. So did he wreck because of the Civic or because he drove a 240? Everyone knows 240 drivers are dumb, but so are Civic drivers.

i'm not really sure... my friend was watching and said he didn't think the lights were on, besides his car was facing way off the road so i didn't think of him turning them off after the wreck. I do know that a lot of people pull out of the home depot without really looking, but it doesn't help doing 70 in a 45 either.

well judging by the way he was wedged into the car, I don't think turning off his lights in respect for other drivers was on his mind....

I watched the car swerving in and out of the turn lane by the Battery Plus to pass people, then I came up and saw him in the car with the cop sitting there moving plastic. A friend of mine in a Saturn pulled over to try and help once it happened. Where do you work at?
