93 rx7 vs mach 1

so i was cruisin mindin my own buisness when this dickhead in a mustang does a AWESOME ricer flyby..lol
so i say fuck it catch up to him at the next light and find out it was a mach 1..
ran him a couple of times and dead even both times.. the last time i pulled on him a little when i hit 3rd....my ? is what are the mach 1's i dont know shit about stangs? supercharged? or what? thanks

Basically, it's the same weight as a Mustang GT with 60 more horsepower at the crank.

There are more differences in the cars, but I think that's what you were getting at.
