actually yes it is illegal...you can only run your OWN tag number not someone elses. Wanting to know someone elses tag number IS NOT public information just fyi you and the person can be arrested for looking that up

yeah.. i've had too many instances of cops doing shit just cause they can.. and had many instances with people whom i know having the same shit happen to them.. so i dont use//need cops.. thats what they made guns for

Take your gun and put it away or sell it. Someone that thinks like that shouldn't be able to own a gun.

Police report was filed the day it happend. These assholes have been doing a lot of shit in my area so its just a matter of time. Besides I never said anything about doing anything I could get put in jail for.

Um, no. Gwinnett county police have this problem where they tend not to care about this kind of shit. At all. They take the initial police report then never do anything about it. This would be more of an insurance policy. If I know where the kid lives and the cops don't do shit I can at least go have a chat with his parents and hope they are reasonable enough to punish him.

Just a side note, I dont need this done anymore. I found out who drives the car through other channels.

there is a way to do it legally, Use a phone tracer program, most of the newer ones like phonetrace (www.phonetrace.org) have an option to run a plate, you select your state type the plate number where the phone number goes and search it and it'll do it man
