Registration is free. When you register, it doesn't mean you have to show up. It just holds your spot for that day's event. It would be totally awesome to have a big forum showing there at the events. If you don't want to race your daily driver, that's cool, too. There are plenty of people who will give ride alongs
show starts at 8 am. for the first run group (there are 2 morning and afternoon) u have to register no later than the night b4 the event (sat night). depending on your mods you will be classed differently. look at the Scca rule book for your specific class or PM me i can most often tell you. it costs $35 for non-SCCA members and 25 for members. if its your first Auto x you usually have to run novice which is one huge class for newbies. the ppl u meet there r some of the nicest, coolest ppl you will meet and will help you in any way they can including myself. the events have been getting progressively bigger and bigger and i believe they're around 200+ registered for the 10th so it should be an intense day of competition. your first time out actually in a car usually will hook you for life....its a total blast.

I will definitely show up as a spectator. This will be my 3rd time there. It is a total blast. I would like to do the course after I get some mods done, maybe even sooner...

Hope to see everyone there. I have to work 9-6 but you know what. I dont really like my job so....I dont think I will go that day....they screw me over with 3 days of work a week I will screw them over with 1 day of David not showing up....probably not a good Idea, but who cares. Not me. I will see everyone there.

We may laugh, but if you are having fun then that's what it is all about. I have signed up, but my car is misfiring in 2 cylinders So I'll have to make it to the one later this month. Oh well. Plus I'll probably get my ass kicked in SM since I am no longer in the novice class. Go and have fun and talk to the people. We are nice....most of the time.

I went and had 3 clean runs. I scared the orange doo doo out a few cones on my first run but didn't hit em. Stock suspension and plain jane street tires with an engine swap had me sliding all over the place. I had a great time and am confident that I put down decent times my last 2 runs but they didn't post the times damn it!!! I hope they put them up on the SCCA website because I really want to know how I did.

hey chris it was cool to see you out there and even better to get a ride in that torque monster..haha. the times are all fubar. but your in novice anyways so your times dont really matter that much. next time sign up for SM2 and get you some better tires and you should improve 100% over last event. ill be posting up the next event here shortly and trying to get ppl out. glad you had fun, im sure your hooked like i am. peace

These are the only ones I have uploaded so far. I e-mailed Luke his pictures and one of the orange protege. Anyway, as you can see from the pictures I am mostly a Mazda enthusiast. The only reason I took the picture of the CRX is because I know some people at Alan Cox.

Don't Be disapointed I have a few miata shots too but I didn't have time to upload all of my pictures. One picture has a friend of Danny's...in a miata and another miata in the background. Let me get at least that one back to you so that yall don't think I am hatin'.

Yeah...I needed to bring my zoom zoom lense that thing is like a sniper rifle scope. It has some massive zoom. Then I could have gotten some better pictures that were a little bit tighter and of more interesting parts of the course...like a reducing radius, downhill, off camber turn. I worked this corner and saw many cars extremely 3 wheeling it. But got no pictures.

i didn't get to use the camera i wanted to (not that it would have helped too much). this was the first autocross i've been to and i went as a spectator, so i don't really know what's off limits and where its ok to take pictures. i should be getting my miata roadworthy within the week, so i hope to have a go at it for fun, although, with my mods, i'll probably be outclassed by other drivers.

Awesome... Danny thanks for posting the time. I was extremely curious. I thought I ran a little better than that my last time but oh well. I had fun and was 8th out of all the novices. I should be able to do better than that next time. Also...Great job Kory. I am going to get roasted if I go into the StreetMod Class with those times.

My bad, it was a Miata and an S2000 but I did get a Miata picture. Much love to the Mazda community that represented at the AutoX.
