Exclamation Need my engine Rebuilt ASAP!

Does anyone know of a good place where I can get my engine rebuilt? Not Mahadavi or R&M Motorsparts. I'm also looking to get a new tranny or my old one rebuilt so if you have any info and/or prices on either that would be great. Thanx!

if u look hard enough you can get that swap with under 100k for less than 500 bucks. i personally wouldn't rebuild a D just get a new motor.

Dude it has to be at least OBDII. you can't do a swap in your car and retrograde your engine thats illegal as hell not to mention I'm not trying to ride around all the time with my dam check engine light on. It has to be at least OBDII or higher.

switch Oil Pump to OBD2, problem solved.

And no one out here checks for "same year" or newer engine rule. I would be surprised if any cop even knew what a D15B was lol.

D15Bs are cheap, or make a WTB and ask for a Y8.

I wasn't worried about the police they can "bite me" The reason I was saying was about passing emissions. My car does not go by the old test all they do is plug a computer to my car and it gives a read out about how my car has been performing emissions wise. Would my onboard computer allow my car to pass!?!?!?!?

Well, if you have a CRX then they have no reason to plug in an OBD II computer unless you make a big stink about them needing to.

All you have to do is pass the sniffer test.... RPM based test.

See you are the only one who's kind of in the bad position... just because you updated your wiring doesn't mean you need to do that test... I mean, if it passes that way it would pass the sniffer anyway.

But again, like mike said, just change the oil pump and then the ECU wont know the difference.

I'm just not so sure why you changed to OBD II if you are still running a D series, not worth it in my opinon but it's your call

Actually MR LATE MAN I have a 2000 EK (CIVIC) and yes I'm making a "big stink" b/c I'm not going to put an 89-90 pre OBD engine in my 2000 that would not be very smart. So now again since I was asking for an OBD II D16Y8 That's what I need. Don't mean to be rude but if thats what I asked for thats what I need. There was a reason for me asking. You assumed that since my name is Sleek-CRX-Si that is the only car I own! But Thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
