Default LS in a newer civic?

My buddy's wife has a civic..I think like 2001? He wants to make it faster for her. Not uber fast. Just drop a quicker motor in, and call it a day. MAY consider modding, but needs to be low maintenance. He asked me if he could buy my b18 and put it in there. I told him I'm sure I could, but I don't know how much benefit the LS motor would give him....

Any thoughts? Would it actually be worth it, or am I right in saying "not sure it'd make you happy"?

Tell him to just get a K20 for it.... it is a popular swap into the EM2 Civics

lol. there is no way you can fit a b18 in there without extensive modding.
