JULY 9th- Atlanta Cruise

Alright so the day has been set, next saturday the 9th. The only thing we are awaiting is a decision on the time and meeting place. Since I thought of this, I'll say the meeting place is either somewhere around Gwinnett Place Mall or Mall of GA.

The ride will go throughout atlanta and I need someone to make a map of the route. It will also include a place to stop and grab a bite to eat, maybe the Varsity? Bring money and GAS! Make sure you have a full tank just incase!

BTW- please have modifications done to your car.

No, it is not required to drive around Atlanta, but if you want to go on the cruise then I'm just suggesting it happens. If you have ever driven with over 20 cars that are all hooked up then you would know the feeling. Not doubting you of course.

Thats the thing, we have a week to decide what we wanna do and where at. I thought of the idea and people liked it, so does anyone else wanna throw in ideas please?

Meet somewhere public.. like a mall.. then cruise to the varsity. Then take a different route home, maybe through the suberbs?

Yea sometime after 4 would work and thats what I was gonna plan for. Seeing as in all the people that posted on the other page aren't posting here, it doesn't look like there is much help in planning where we are going and what we are doing.

Again, does anyone want to do this? If so, what are some places we can go?

Hey- can't really represent my whole crew (Team Interlude) or anything, but we are having a bar-b-q that day; so it might be ideal for a whole cruise type thing to go down. I will post this on the site to see what the vibe is. I am interested though. So where are we on the whole modification issue? I have an exhaust and an intake... would I be ruled out? I think if we are trying to get good looking cars- we should say that. Modifications are really only necessary at the track, no?

Thats fine, I didn't mean for it to sound like show cars only. Actually I was wanting people to ATLEAST have an exhaust so we can make some noise.

Our BBQ starts at 4pm. We planned on cruising around some but more toward 7pm or so.

Visually, all I have is rims, lowered, and exhaust. But 3rd gen ludes are the nicest looking so that will make up some of my "un-bling" factor!

Or should I bring the Pacifica? It has some chrome 19's.

But on the real, we didn't have any planned routes or locations for cruising. Just wasting some time until it's movie time (Fantastic 4).

im down for the cruise depending on the time since i was planning on making it out to lams. also atlanta roads suck just so you know...especially when your car is about a cig pack and some change off the ground.

Hating? Not much of that here.

Everyone wants to get a cruise going but then no one wants to organize it. A few people need to decide on the best route and meeting place and then just set it up. Might be a little slow the first cruise but it will pick up.
