    Default Yaris/Vitz Cup Cars & One-Make Races (56K Beware)

Pretty cool to see how popular the Yaris/Vitz is overseas. If only the American eyes could see...

I might have posted the first two pics, but I'm not sure. All the others are new.

Looks like fun. If I could afford one of the new sub-compacts such as the Yaris, Fit, xA, etc. I would definitely buy one.

The RS models that you see there have the same 1.5L 1NZ-FE that we get in the Yaris here. The base model Vitz in Japan has a 1.3L engine. If they're anything like our Spec Miata races here, then they're probably limited to mild bolt-on parts.

Also, FYI, the Yaris Sedan we have here in the states is the Toyota Belta in Japan.

Probably because both cars are Micro-Compacts and about the same size.

I wish someone would set up some one-make races in America.
