    Acetone?

I don't know...I'd be a bit skeptical of putting anything in my fuel tank that wasn't the proper fuel.

It's been tested and it's pretty much your "Octane booster" on steroids.

I might give it a shot just for 1 Tank.

Ppl at time use shitty ass gas from places like Kroger/Marathon/Wallmart gas...god knows what that gas has in it. Plus 2oz. of Acetone in 10 gallons..worst thing that can happen is that you will get shitty gas millage for 1 Tank. They suggested use good gas from places like Shell, Chevron and i am sure Quick Trip will also qualify.

works, but it will kill your fuel system in the long run.

save a few bucks now vs pay out the ass later to fix... your choice.
dont take anything i say srsly. its the interwebs.

Damn this is old, like 2002 old. Do a google search on it, lots of people have tried it. I tired it for 8 months and saw no real gain as I filled up at the same gas station (bp) let the pump cut off no topping off, ect. I believe I may still have the excel file, with my mileage. But like ek mentioned the Acetone will eat away at your rubber seals, ect.

i am just gonna do this for 1 tank and see the results. Plus looks like there are some performance gains...so it might be worth putting when doing run?
