    Default 92 240sx ka24de exhaust cam 248 dur

    EDIT:

I have a stock exhaust cam from a 1992 ka24de rwd motor. The cam is used but in good condition. Easy, inexpensive upgrade for your 95-98 s14 or Altima with this bigger duration exhaust cam. Approximately 10+hp gain depending on application. Please do the research as there are different setups to installing this cam that would give you the approriate gains for your powerband.

That is somewhat correct. I'll edit my first post.

My dyno results gave the following on an automatic ka24de altima

    232 intake 232 exhaust - 125whp, 140ft/lbs

    248 intake 232 exhaust - 130whp, 147ft/lbs

Now this is on an automatic so assuming you loose more with the auto transmission the gain is somewhere in the 10-15hp range. SAFC or some kind of EFI fine tuning hardware recommended.

Yep, here's the link for those interested. If you have a set of JWT sprokets ($140 investment) and SAFC then the gains can be greatly improved for your application ie: Turbo vs NA
