How did everybody do today? There were a lot of fast cars today. I've never seen Import Showdown this busy before. I was really impressed. Here are some of our customers who ran. They did an amazing job!

some of the mainstream crew went an played around, but turbo Dave and i didnt get mine done until 10am sunday morning, an even then it was just tuned for idle.

i was really trying to make this one event, we worked night an day for a week straight, oh well.

ill be at faceoff hopefully cause all i need now is dyno time an some minor bugs worked out

That was my first time at the track and all i can say i had a damn blast! I will deff be going to the track more often but most likely just gonna go to commerce. Oh Tray btw unfortunately it was a 11.83 not 11.70 lol i know i could break that time but only if i didnt miss 2nd that last run BTW this was all at 24psi and have the new mbc so as soon as i get it in ill give you guys a call then off to the track again!

We never heared them say Showdown cars to the line, we where taking the car to do a pass because we changed some stuff out.

We get to line and there like we have being waiting for you, we had NO ICE and the slicks where at 12psi.So if you saw i was trying to let out air while the car was rolling to the line,we knew we where done for the day at that point. one slick was at 5psi the other at 10ish...

Oh well thats racing!!! Always next time!


P.s Peter had the highest speed of the day 154MPH . i think it was!!

I think it was 151 but still the fastest mph. The best 2 races of the day were Clark(Supra) and Jason(EK hatch-blue). 1st time Jason got the jump and walked Clark w/ a 10.1 pass and then in eliminations Clark launched on Jason and he still sucked him up and won w/ another 10.1 pass.

I don't know what the heck was going on, but for some reason I could only run 24 psi. We switched out boost controllers and crank it down, but it would still only run 24 psi. All the vacuum lines looked good so I don't know what it could be.

On the way home I could only run 19 psi. Very strange.

First pass 11.2 @ 123 1.77 60'

Second 11.1 @ 123 1.66 60'

Third 11.1 @ 123 1.62 60'

Fourth 11.7 @ 120 1.6- 60' missed a gear

Fifth 11.1 @ 123 mph 1.62 60' redlight in elimination round

I think I made another pass but I don't remember the time because I let out and then got back into it.

Pump gas and meth, 21 psi. I thought I had the boost turned up and I actually turned it down. I had HUGE issues with my first gear so I could never get out of the hole. Had a freaking awesome time.
It was great to ride down and be there for Val.Topspeed and Buschur FTW

I think the hot temps were taking their toll on turbo cars... my boost wouldn't budge but rather go down no matter how much I bumped up the WG duty cycles. I ended up running pump gas boost settings, lol. I also fouled my spark plugs after my 2nd run and it got worse and worse. I had to let out on every run afterwards and shift ealier as well. =[

My best of the day was a 11.0 @ 130mph w/ a 1.63 on cheapo dunlops, boost only. Feels good running the car from a dig as its been about a year since last time, haha.

lol, with 5psi ~ 10spi more boost, the bottle, no lift shifting, 700rpms more per gear, staying WOT through the whole 1/4, and some other goodies... you think I might be able to shave 0.1sec off? Sounds kinda tough... -_^

sucks he missed a gear cause I think he could have bettered his 9.9 in the finals. Congrats on the 9.9 clark and everyone else on there passes.

Thanks man! Its making 370whp on just 24psi so i bought a new boost controller and gonna crank up the boost more and get retuned then im hoping to break into the 400's
