Alright, I have a 1991 Mazda Navajo (2 door SUV gas drinker) sitting in my driveway. I got it from a man that really took care of it, he just didn't want it anymore. It runs really good so far, the only problem is the transmission.
I'll get in it to go somewhere put it in reverse but the thing won't move. I push the gas in, the RPM will rev up to 2 or 3 and then it will kick in (the highest the RPM will go is 6). I'll put it in drive, push the gas, nothing happens till the RPM gets to 2 or 3 again.
I was thinking it's doing that cuz it's really old. So I've been letting it warm up for a good 10 minutes before I get in it, I don't want to tear it up. But it still does the same thing. I'm going to get it looked at in a few days, just wanted to see what you car experts had to say first (I know you guys have had your share of transmission problems). need more info?? Just let me know.
