The only campus in Ga where a Huey comes in on a trailer for display, a blackhawk comes and lands adjacent to it on the drill field, and an apache comes in, goes vertical, banks it, drops to the field, and shuts down in the middle while two buglers calling retreat are muted by a 21-gun salute and cannon firing off as the flag is lowered, and taps are played in memory of those students, past and present who have fallen in combat, and in memory of the students of Virginia Tech as tears roll down the faces of the audience, and the corps surrounds the flag as it is lowered.
Today's been nuts with all the ceremonies and military activity going on as we close out the school year.
Dang, I'm glad I chose to attend here.
