I've had this car about 4 or 5 years I'd say and have always had intentions of fixing it up. Though I've had the money several times, I always find something else to blow it on. Anyhow, here's some info:

Good:

Coilovers up front
Cross drilled rotors up front
Front and rear aftermarket sway bars
European Z tail lights (not Euro clears like on ricers)
Custom exhaust
New NGK plug wires, spark plugs, fusible links, and covers
16x8 chrome wheels
Very very little rust and 100% solid floor pans
H4 headlight conversion

Cons:

Some "creative enginerring" in the wiring due to previous owners
Sunrooves leak (crappy old aftermarket sunrooves)
Clearcoat flaking off because previous owner's 16 y/o couldn't take the time to wax the paint now and then and take care of it
Car sometimes likes to stall when wipers or lights are on at lower idle speeds

That's all I can think of right now. Car isn't the best at interstate speeds due to being re-geared, I think with a 4.11 which is common. Great on backroads, crappy on the interstate. Car was the p/o's daily driver for a while, and my daily driver, but I've since retired it to just driving around the neighborhood now and then to keep the fluids circulated. With a little TLC and checking things like brakes and stuff, I'd drive it around town again. It doesn't get the best mileage either, runs rich. This would be an awesome car to pull the motor out of and rewire the chassis with an EZ Wiring or Painless kit and get any sort of electrical bug out and then drop in a turbo motor and have fun.

I am looking to trade the car or sell it. I am asking $3000 cash, or will trade towards a car of around equal value. Might also trade it with some cash on my end. Some of the cars I'm interested in are:

3000GT SL (non turbo, but still the DOHC) or equivalent Stealth, 1g DSM turbo (FWD or AWD), Integra/Prelude, Z31 300ZX Turbo, Z32 300ZX non turbo, 240SX, etc.

It is the 5 speed, and probably wouldn't be interested in an Iroc, thanks though. I love Jap 80s cars, but not many American cars really do it for me. For anyone else's reference, the only American cars I might really be into is another LT1 Trans Am 6 speed or a Fox body 5.0.

Hey guys, feel free to make a cash offer, even if it's a little below $3000. There is a car in GA I want and if I sell this for close enough to my asking price, I can get his car, get it up here, AND have a huge chunk of a rebuilt motor for it. I could probably get it w/o selling the Z but really need the driveway space. I'm still up for trades, but would rather sell it cash right now. But that might change if he ends up selling the car before I can get it.

It has two bumpers. I took the one in the pics off because where on the pass. side (right after it curves around from the front) that piece was broken off when I got it. I used some fiberglass repair to just stick it back on but due to driving around, wind resistance, etc, it's starting to get loose again. It could be repaired by a body shop but the bumper isn't worth repairing in my opinion. The other one I have is a far more common Z car aftermarket bumper and is urethane. All it needs is to be installed and paint matched (once the car is repainted).

still Bump, 280s fully restored look so amazing. i saw one at a nissan dealershop around here goin like 10+k and it had soo little mileage and had the huge thick drag racing tires man it look beutiful.

Did you miss the part about trading it towards another car and cash on my end? And I've seen quite a few 3000GT non turbos go for lower amounts, I didn't want a VR4.

p.s. You don't have to be a dick. And there have been a few SLs go on Ebay for right around what I'm asking for my car. Not everyone wants one that has big ass rims and suspension upgrades, air intakes, exhaust and all that. Maybe someone wants a stock one from time to time.
