    Default Prayer Request

    It's 3 a.m. My wife and I took my 18 month old daughter to the ER at a little after 8 and she has just been admitted into Pediatrics. I came home to get some clothes and toothbrushes and figured prayers couldn't hurt. Thanks in advance.

    well grandma and aunt came to take a shift so Noell and I could grab a shower and a nap this morning. Preliminaries show a strong case that it could be something they call the Rota Virus, go figure I'm an import nut and my daughter gets something called the Rota Virus. Anyways, they have to wait on a stool sample to send out for testing to confirm or deny. Basically from the way he explained it, it's a super stomach virus that completely wipes out your system, especially bad in children obviously. She has been hooked up to IV fluids and will continue to be for at least another day or so. Things are at least starting to look like we have an answer.

    also, as a precaution, anything that she may have touched or been in contact with while being sick I'd recommend you disinfect asap, otherwise you or your wife may end up with it as well

    but reading up on it on wikipedia, your little girl should be good to go in a weeks time (especially if she recieves a vaccine ) keep your chin up, she'll be back driving you two up the wall in no time

    thanks everyone, just got home from the hospital again, it fuckin sucks sleeping in chairs and seeing your little one miserable like that. On the bright side however is she has stopped vomitting every 10 minutes but her little body is in shock and she has hives like you wouldn't believe. I'm gonna catch a few hours shut eye. Thanks again everyone, keep em coming.

    Hey man, I'm sorry to hear about your little girl.. I pray right now in the name that is above every name "JESUS" that your little girl will recover fine and that God's angels will be around you and your family during this time.. I have a 9 month old son and my wife is pregnant with our second child, hopefully a little girl - she is 14 weeks in.. So I know how stressful this can be.. Just know that we are all praying together for you and your family.. Take it easy brother!
