    dont forget speedforsale. you can call aap too. they usually know of a few especially if you want em in really good shape. guess i'll go ahead and say welcome to the club since you're lookin! gl n feel free to pm me if you need any advice on what or what not to look for! i know you know but i thought i'd offer anyways. oh, and just my 2 cents, the six speed is great but a th400 is SSSSSOOOOOOOO much better!!!!

    yeah i've been to those places. supra forums have mostly auto's. And the 6 speeds are on the high side.

    but i've posted.... if someone here has one or know of someone..let me know, thanks!

    hmmmmm tell me more about the TH400 lol. i am just looking into them. I found an auto that has what i am looking for but, its got a stock transmission. I heard its only good for around 500rwhp before it starts breaking?

    whats the cost of the TH400, boost logic tranny, etc?

    I'm telling you Bee just go ahead and get an Auto then swap in a built TH400(turbo400) tranny. You'll love it. It'll be the best for the street and the track.

    They say 6speeds are kinda hard to drive at the track. All that power is hard to keep consistent while shifting. I've only seen a couple people that can do it consistently. 1 of them is Paul Efantis and his 6spd street car. There is also a guy w/ a SC w/ a 6spd swap that gets down the track pretty fast but the car is all over.

    or ryan woon in his 6spd supra. ran 8's. but he retired it

    th400 with the manual valve body and shift kit is the way to go. lmk when you're out this way sometime and i'll take you for a drive. oh, and let's just say on the same tune the 400 is good for a second immediately even with a driver lke turbo dave on the sixspeed consistently.

    my personal 2 pennies, i would go with a 400 before getting the boost logic stocker built. it will never be as strong as the 400 and the power i know you wanna make. dont know the cost of a boost logic one but you can get a real nice 400 for a 1800 that would hold 600 or so. manual valve body, custom shift kit and high stall cost extra!!

    hope some of this helps. like i said, just my personal opinion but the auto is just soo much better. i've driven both, like the auto better, even stock. i can still drop down into second at 90 too.
