Off the top of my head, this lug pattern worrks with srt-4s of course and VWs. How does $140 sound? If your interested, let me know. Thanks

hmm, I dunno. I wonder how much difference 20mm would make? Anyways, give me an offer if you don't think my price is reasonable. =)

I totally have forgotten all the numbers, but I know they're wider than the stock SRT-4 pizza cutters. They're .5" wider

**Edit** I was looking on SRT forums and found this, which I'd like to quote

"I'm sick of seeing these weed threads pop up every other day so this thread serves as the ONLY thread that I will allow this discussion to take place. All other threads even remotely close to this topic WILL BE DELETED.

This isn't rocket science so there is absolutely no reason to make this complicated. So lets begin...

Can a 225/45/17 be mounted on the stock 17x6 wheel?

    YES.

Has anybody here mounted a 225/45/17 on the stock wheel?

    YES.

Is it safe to mount a 225/45/17 on the stock wheel?

NO. The reason being is that a 225/45/17 is designed to mount on a minimum wheel width of 7". The stock wheel is 1 inch shorther in width which will cause the sidewalls to become pinched inwards causing a unstable sidewall. This unstability under load (when cornering) may cause the sidewall to "buck" or "roll" over the wheels rim edge quite possibly puncturing the tire and causing it to fail. This is not something you want happening traveling at a high speed.

Has anyone ever had a problem with a 225/45/17 on the stock wheel?

I remember reading about one person having a blowout but other than that no one has ever reported any issues.

Does a 225/45/17 give more grip and traction on the stock wheel?

It may offer a slight improvement in traction but handling will suffer due to the reasons mentioned above in regards to the sidewall.

If no one has ever had a problem with a 225/45/17 on the stock wheel, why is it such a bad idea?

Because being smart about upgrading is the most important thing. And trying to shoehorn a tire on a wheel that isn't supposed to be mounted on is not smart at all.

Can a 235 tire go on the stock wheel?

I'm sure it can be physically done but doing this is even more stupid."

I'm sure this can apply to all wheels, not just 17" diameter weels. After seeing them saying the stock wheel is 17x6, I distinctly remember when I was looking for wheels for drag radials, I wanted a 15x7 wheel. So to clear things up, its a 15x7 wheel. Hope I cleared up any confusion.

i'm wasn't saying that you were lying. The first pics didn't show bf goodrich, and the only bf goodrich DR's I've seen look like the ones from summit. How old are the ones you have?

Are they dry rotted at all?

Also would you be willing to meet up somewhere for me to look at them? If not, then go ahead and sell them to Kevin.
