Which brackets? I've never set them side by side but they all look exactly the same.

No they don't. If you don't know what your looking for then yes they do look similar. The only differences I've seen on the R33 lights are the 95-96 and the 97-98 lights are different but I've never seen any difference in the light themselves between the GTS and GTR.Originally Posted by §treet_§peed

are you tlaking about the 96-98 and 99-00 headlights not looking the same? cause if so they do as far as the mounting...Originally Posted by Cool Cat Racing

The actual headlights are the same, the only difference is the 3 mounting bolts on the back of the headlights. If you look on the GT-R head lights there is a spacer (about an inch long) before the threads start. On the GT-S there is no spacer. It's because the GT-R front bumper and grill actually sit about an inch further out than the GT-S. We retro fitted the GTS lights by using (2) 1/2 inch nuts on the bolts so they would line up. But I already have a set the black housing gtr lights
Current Toy: A few classics, maybe a few imports too. Whatever
see told ya lol

So then you would be referring to this spacer. That is actually a separate piece cataloged in the Nissan crash parts catalog. When you buy the lights new from Nissan that isn't included since it simply unscrews from the lights. This brings me back to my previous point, the lights are the same. If you want to install them on a GTR you need more parts but the lights are the same. See I told you. And Keebler, the 97+ black housing lights are much sexier than the previous lights. That's what we're putting back on the R33 when I'm done with it.

Ya, the 97+ are bad as hell lol. And that's the spacer lol. I wasn't sure if it was just a seperate part or came with the GTR lights. When I picked my new headlights up, they already had that spacer. And I can't wait to see your R33 when it gets done We're ripping the interior out of mine tomorrow so we can start cutting the rear 1/4's off and attempt putting the GTR quarter panels on. I can already see a disaster in the works lolOriginally Posted by Cool Cat Racing

hopefully it won't be too bad, you've done a good job so far. I have some spare spacers if you need them for the headlights.
